Percussionist and jazz vibraphonist Erik Charlston leads JazzBrasil, which has performed at numerous clubs in NYC including Dizzy’s and SOB’s and is tonight playing music from their second CD on Sunnyside Records entitled “Hermeto: Voice and Wind,” featuring the music of the great Hermeto Pascoal along with others. Joining Erik will be Ted Nash on sax, clarinet and flute, Vitor Gonçalves on piano, Eduardo Belo on bass, Cafe on percussion and Mauricio Zotarelli on drums.
